In an electrifying event held at Jaipur's Zee Studio, 22-year-old Manika Vishwakarma was crowned Miss India Universe 2025, earning the opportunity to represent India at the prestigious Miss Universe competition in Thailand later this year.
The ceremony, which stretched into the early hours of Tuesday, saw Vishwakarma honored by her predecessor, Miss Universe India 2024 Rhea Singha. Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh and Mehak Dhingra from Haryana were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Meanwhile, Amishi Kaushik from Haryana and Sarangthem Nirupama from Manipur secured the third and fourth spots.
Speaking to PTI, Vishwakarma expressed her gratitude, particularly to her family and community back home, for their unwavering support. She highlighted the crucial role her educators played in shaping her journey, stating that the support she received far outweighed the struggles. During the final round, Vishwakarma showcased her advocacy for women's education as it transforms communities and futures, a choice praised by the distinguished jury panel including Urvashi Rautela and Nikhil Anand.
