Prime Video has secured an exclusive multi-year streaming partnership with Maddock Films, covering eight upcoming film titles set for release between 2025 and 2027. This deal, announced on Thursday, allows Prime Video to become the sole post-theatrical streaming platform for films produced under the Maddock Films banner.
The collaboration includes a mix of genres, notably featuring the romantic comedy 'Param Sundari' and the vampire film 'Thama'. Maddock Films' blockbuster horror-comedy universe will also see two new unannounced titles released under this deal, alongside sequels to popular films like 'Shiddat' and 'Badlapur'.
Dinesh Vijan, Maddock Films' CEO, highlighted the shared vision with Prime Video to bring Indian cinema to global audiences. The collaboration aims to build on Maddock's record of captivating storytelling, with Prime Video's Director of Content Licensing, Manish Menghani, emphasizing a focus on fresh, creative narratives.
