Historic Homecoming: Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla Meets CM Yogi Adityanath

Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow after his historic space mission. Shukla is the first Indian to visit the ISS aboard Axiom-4. Accompanied by his family, the meeting celebrated his pioneering achievement as the second Indian in space.

Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla made a courtesy visit to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday. The visit marked Shukla's triumphant return from a historic space mission.

Shukla, an Indian Air Force Group Captain, was accompanied by his wife Kamna and their son Kiash. The meeting was a celebration of Shukla's remarkable achievement as he became the first Indian to visit the International Space Station aboard the Axiom-4 mission.

The chief minister's office expressed pride in Shukla's accomplishments, recognizing him as the 'nation's son.' Shukla's journey has significantly contributed to India's growing presence in space exploration.
