Highlighting the enduring relevance of Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy, Goa Governor P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju on Thursday called for embracing non-violence and dialogue amidst contemporary challenges of intolerance and division.
Speaking on Gandhi Jayanti, also the International Day of Non-Violence, Raju underscored Gandhi's belief in achieving profound change without hatred or violence, through truth and compassion.
Raju noted Gandhi's vision of inclusive development, advocating for a focus on welfare for all, especially the weakest members of society, as a measure of a nation's progress.
