Gang's Plot to Eliminate Comedian Thwarted After Police Gunfight
Two gang members planning to assassinate comedian Munawar Faruqi were arrested after a gunfight. The suspects, linked to the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar-Virender Charan gang, were caught following a shootout in Delhi. They were reportedly receiving instructions from the foreign-based gangster Rohit Godara.

In a dramatic turn of events, two members of the notorious Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar-Virender Charan gang were apprehended following a gun battle on Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Road, according to local authorities.
The suspects, identified as Rahul from Panipat and Sahil from Bhiwani, Haryana, were reportedly under orders from gangster Rohit Godara, operating from abroad, to target comedian Munawar Faruqi.
Faruqi, a popular figure with a significant following of 14.2 million on Instagram, became a target shortly after winning reality show Bigg Boss in 2024. Police disclosed that both men had conducted surveillance in Mumbai and Bengaluru, plotting to track his movements.
