Annabelle Wallis Joins 'Pedro Pan': A New Historical Thriller

English actor Annabelle Wallis has joined the cast of Richie Adams' upcoming historical thriller 'Pedro Pan'. The film, set after Fidel Castro's revolution, depicts a significant child rescue mission. Wallis will portray Ms. Penny Powers, a British diplomat involved in Operation Pedro Pan, alongside an impressive ensemble cast.

Renowned English actor Annabelle Wallis will feature in Richie Adams' forthcoming historical thriller 'Pedro Pan', a gripping narrative set in the chaotic aftermath of Fidel Castro's Cuban revolution.

This film chronicles one of modern history's largest child rescue missions, spotlighting the collaborative efforts of a Cuban socialite, an English schoolteacher, and an Irish Catholic priest based in Miami. Together, they orchestrated the escape of 14,000 children from communist indoctrination to new beginnings in America, all while contending with Castro's secret police.

Wallis will take on the role of Ms. Penny Powers, a British diplomat instrumental in the famed Kindertransport during World War II and Operation Pedro Pan. The film, also featuring Nestor Carbonell, Allen Leech, and others, commences production in Mexico this November.
