In a stirring address at the Bharat Scouts and Guides National Jamboree's closing ceremony, President Droupadi Murmu underscored the necessity of nurturing cooperation along with competition to bolster the nation and society.

Speaking in Lucknow, President Murmu praised the jamboree's mix of competitive events, noting that they foster team spirit and inspire diligence. She emphasized that while competitions teach valuable lessons, cooperation is indispensable for societal progress.

Murmu highlighted the organization's global standing and lauded its 63 lakh strong membership, with girls making up over 25 lakh. She extended congratulations to female guides for their discipline and commitment to societal betterment. The event was also attended by prominent leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
