Apple TV+ has officially greenlit a third season of the popular series 'Platonic,' starring Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen. Both actors also serve as executive producers, alongside creators Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

In an enthusiastic statement, Stoller and Delbanco expressed their eagerness to return to the series, collaborating again with partners Rose and Seth, as well as Sony and Apple. The recent season finale saw Byrne's character, Sylvia, partnering with Rogen's Will to be the public face of his new bar, amid legal turbulences following his scrapped engagement to Jenna, portrayed by Rachel Rosenbloom.

Apple TV's programming head, Matt Cherniss, kept potential plotlines for Sylvia and Will under wraps, while commending Nick and Francesca for elevating the series in its second season. 'Platonic,' produced by Sony Pictures Television with Stoller's Global Solutions, promises further excitement with executive producers including Byrne, Rogen, and the team from Point Grey Pictures.
