Close Call for Bengal's Own Detective: Anirban Chakraborty's Car Accident

Popular Bengali actor Anirban Chakraborty narrowly escaped injury after his car was hit by a bus in Kolkata. The incident occurred near Charu Market as Chakraborty and his driver were traveling. Though uninjured, the car was significantly damaged. Police are investigating the event using CCTV footage.

Bengali film star Anirban Chakraborty, renowned for his role as detective Eken Babu, experienced a frightening encounter on Saturday when his vehicle was struck by a bus in Kolkata, according to police reports.

The collision took place in the vicinity of Charu Market in south Kolkata while Chakraborty and his chauffeur were en route. Though both passengers emerged unscathed, the vehicle sustained considerable damage.

An eyewitness reported that the car veered to avoid a two-wheeler, leading to its impact with the bus. Authorities have registered a case and are meticulously examining CCTV footage alongside eyewitness statements to piece together the chain of events.
