At the 23rd Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in Delhi, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan voiced his support for both traditional and digital film platforms, reinforcing his belief that audiences relish movies regardless of the medium.

Khan's latest film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par', bypassed an OTT release after its theatrical run, opting instead for a YouTube pay-per-view model. Khan explained at the summit that this decision was an individual initiative to introduce a new model for films, not an industry-wide agenda.

Addressing criticisms of streaming platforms, Khan emphasized the importance of consumer choice in media consumption. He hailed the digital boom in India and encouraged its strategic use, highlighting the need for the film industry to adapt and grow with digital advancements.
