In Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated Asia's longest ski drag lift, marking a substantial upgrade to the region's skiing facilities, according to officials.
During the event on Saturday, Abdullah also unveiled the world's highest revolving multi-purpose hall, which includes a restaurant, in the Affarwat area of the resort.
The new ski lift at Kongdori, located in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, is expected to elevate Gulmarg's international profile as a winter sports destination. Abdullah is also set to attend the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India's annual convention.
