Asia's Longest Ski Drag Lift Opens, Elevating Gulmarg's Wintersports Hub

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated Asia's longest ski drag lift at Gulmarg, significantly enhancing the skiing infrastructure. Additionally, he opened the world's highest revolving multi-purpose hall at the Affarwat area. These advancements bolster Gulmarg's status on the international winter sports map, officials confirmed.

In Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated Asia's longest ski drag lift, marking a substantial upgrade to the region's skiing facilities, according to officials.

During the event on Saturday, Abdullah also unveiled the world's highest revolving multi-purpose hall, which includes a restaurant, in the Affarwat area of the resort.

The new ski lift at Kongdori, located in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, is expected to elevate Gulmarg's international profile as a winter sports destination. Abdullah is also set to attend the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India's annual convention.
