DJ Priest: Reviving Faith on the Dance Floor Across Latin America

Father Guilherme Peixoto, a Portuguese priest, blends faith and music as a DJ on his tour across Latin America. With a unique style, he balances spiritual messages with electronic beats, aiming to engage young audiences and promote positivity amidst the decreasing numbers of the Church.

Under the captivating stage lights in Monterrey, Mexico, a Catholic priest, Father Guilherme Peixoto, is not delivering a sermon from a pulpit. Instead, Peixoto stands behind turntables, electrifying the crowd with his unique blend of electronic beats and faith.

Originating from Portugal, Peixoto has performed in world-renowned clubs and is currently on a tour across Latin America, a region vital to the Catholic community. His dual talents draw young audiences, featuring religious imagery and messages intertwined with rhythmic beats.

Peixoto's musical journey, which began two decades ago as a means of community building in Portugal, now represents a novel form of spiritual outreach. He combines his passions at venues across the continent, inspiring unity and inclusivity in a modern-day congregation while fulfilling his clerical duties.
