In a significant act of generosity, a Hyderabad-based businessman has donated blades valued at Rs 1.2 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to support their tonsuring rituals.

B Sridhar's contribution will cover the temple's yearly blade requirements, alleviating a considerable financial burden for the TTD.

With approximately 40,000 half blades used daily for tonsuring, Sridhar's donation efficiently meets the demands of the world's richest Hindu shrine, the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple.
