Under the cool embrace of a Delhi winter, the Qutub Minar was reborn as the venue for an evocative cultural experience, Songs of the Stone, on December 13. Organized by Inkpot India, this inaugural event transformed the iconic monument into a stage for introspection and cultural connection after dark.

With the collaboration of Delhi Tourism, the Archaeological Survey of India, and Max Estates, the evening was a confluence of music, architecture, and storytelling. Curated by Simar Malhotra, founder of Inkpot India, the event showcased a riveting sitar performance by Mehtab Ali Niazi and his ensemble. The music responded artfully to the monument's unique acoustics, infusing classical roots with a modern sensibility.

The atmosphere was charged with the synergy of sound and sight, providing a multisensory experience that engaged all five senses. Eric Chopra set the stage with a reflection on the site's cultural significance, enhancing an evening that united cultural patrons, diplomats, and artists. This event was a testament to the belief that heritage spaces like Qutub Minar offer a living dialogue between past and present.
