The deceased were identified as members of Indira Devi's family, attending the 'Boda Tyohar' festival.

The state's chief minister and other officials have expressed condolences and ordered a thorough investigation. This tragedy follows another calamity in the same subdivision last week, where 14 people died in a bus accident. Response and support efforts are underway for the bereaved families.
