A new direct bus service has been inaugurated, connecting Nepal's Beni Municipality with India's New Delhi, significantly facilitating pilgrimages to the renowned Muktinath Temple. The initiative aims to improve accessibility for religious tourists while promoting tourism ties between the two nations.
Jointly launched by Modern Era Tours and Travels and Sristi Yatayat Pvt Ltd, this service eliminates the previously cumbersome travel routes to the temple. By bypassing multi-leg journeys, the bus cuts down travel time considerably, thereby offering a more economical and efficient option.
The bus, which covers roughly 1,400 kilometers, caters to both pilgrims and general travelers, with a daily schedule offering ease and flexibility. This move not only benefits religious tourists but also supports Nepalese traveling to New Delhi for personal pursuits such as education and healthcare.
