Youth Urged to Lead in Global Environmental Efforts

Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker, Rahul Narwekar, has called on the nation's youth to step forward as leaders in the realm of sustainable development, highlighting the environment as a paramount global concern.

Speaking at the National Environment Youth Parliament, organized by Vikasarth Vidyarthi and Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi at Vidhan Bhavan, Narwekar stressed the indispensable part young people play in nation-building and safeguarding the environment.

According to an official release, Narwekar underlined that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility and that public involvement is crucial. He asserted that with empowered youth, India can achieve remarkable progress across various fronts. The event saw participation from 200 youth delegates from universities nationwide, presenting proposals on environmental conservation and sustainable development.
