A tragic incident unfolded in Beed district, Maharashtra, when a young man was killed and two others sustained severe injuries in a knife attack triggered by social media disputes. The violent encounter occurred on Monday night during a religious procession, according to local police.

The conflict emerged when two suspects, identified as Nilesh Gujar and a minor, confronted three victims. The confrontation, rooted in long-standing grudges over provocative posts on platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp, escalated to violence. Gujar allegedly stabbed one of the victims, Deepak Nalkol, in the back, resulting in his death.

The two other victims, Balu Khodke and Shashikant Lambade, were also brutally attacked and are currently in critical condition at a private hospital. Following a police complaint filed by the deceased's brother, charges of murder and attempted murder have been pressed, and the accused are now in custody.
