Mckenna Grace is stepping into the iconic role of young Daphne Blake in Netflix's anticipated live-action adaptation of 'Scooby-Doo'. According to Variety, this modern reimagining of the classic series will explore the early days of the Mystery Inc. gang's adventures.

The new eight-episode series, announced in 2025, promises to delve into how Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Freddy came together, with their first case involving a lost Great Dane puppy linked to a supernatural crime. The series is co-written and produced by Josh Appelbaum, Scott Rosenberg, and others under the Midnight Radio and Berlanti Productions banners.

Continuing her association with the franchise, Grace, who previously voiced Daphne in 'Scoob!', is excited to be part of this live-action project. Despite Warner Bros. Discovery shelving 'Scoob! Holiday Haunt', this series marks another milestone in the ongoing appeal of 'Scooby-Doo'.
