His family confirmed that George breathed his last at his residence in Kottayam due to age-related reasons. Born in 1931, he served in the Indian Army's Corp of Signals, making significant contributions under intense conditions in the Wagah Sector.

The family awaits the return of relatives from Dubai, delayed by ongoing conflicts in West Asia, to proceed with funeral services. Until then, George's remains are safely preserved in a local mortuary.
