The three-day Dadagurudev Chadar Mahotsav, a significant event in the Jain community, wrapped up in Jaisalmer amid various religious ceremonies. This spiritual gathering saw Acharya Jinmaniprabha Suriwarji Maharaj receiving the 'Rashtra Ratna' title from Maharashtra's minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
The event, organized by the Dadaguru Shri Jindatt Suri Chadar Mahotsav Committee alongside the Jaisalmer Jain Trust, also elevated Upadhyay Pravara Mahendrasagar to the revered position of Acharya. Padam Tatia, the National Secretary, noted the massive turnout and the impact on spiritual unity in Rajasthan.
The ceremony attracted monks, nuns, saints, and a large international following, all gathering under the auspices of revered figures like RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, who addressed the opening day's Dharm Sabha. The event concluded with a Ganini Pad Ceremony, honoring Sadhvi Shubhrada Shriji with the Ganini title.
