Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Maa Vindhyavasini Temple, urging officials to ensure a single-use plastic-free zone at the Mirzapur fair. He emphasized efficiency in cleanliness and security to facilitate a smooth experience for pilgrims.
During his visit, Adityanath called for improved sanitation through door-to-door garbage collection and enhanced safety measures, like strengthened barricading and lighting. He mandated arrangements for ample drinking water, mobile toilets, and advanced security using CCTV and drones.
The CM also addressed the need for proper handling of devotees' belongings, fair pricing during the event, and timely completion of development projects. The fair area is divided into zones for effective management and to uphold quality standards in service provision.
