An eagerly anticipated Iftaar organized by Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) drew substantial attention to the otherwise quiet town of Poonjeeri near Mahabalipuram on March 18. The gathering, which was a follow-up to the tumultuous event at Chennai's YMCA grounds, saw TVK honing its crowd management skills.

General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna briefed attendees on maintaining decorum, advising against disruptive behaviors like taking selfies. Notably, when Vijay, the star attraction, prayed, the enthusiastic crowd followed suit. Yet, as the event wrapped up, chaos ensued with attendees scrambling for a closer view of the actor.

The frenzy was particularly pronounced in the women's section, reminiscent of previous events. Despite attempts by organizers like Yasmin Naina Mohammed to maintain order, Vijay's presence drew fans into a palpable excitement, highlighting the tension between political ambitions and celebrity allure.
