Alia Bhatt Unveils 'Don't Be Shy': A New Coming-of-Age Drama

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt announced her forthcoming production 'Don't Be Shy', a coming-of-age story, set for release on Prime Video. Produced under Eternal Sunshine Productions with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, the film is written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji. The narrative follows Shyamili 'Shy' Das, whose life takes unexpected turns.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt revealed her latest production venture, 'Don't Be Shy', set to stream on Prime Video. This coming-of-age film is produced alongside her sister Shaheen Bhatt under their company, Eternal Sunshine Productions.

The film, penned and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, follows 20-year-old Shyamili 'Shy' Das, who faces unexpected challenges in her seemingly well-ordered life. Mukerji, marking her directorial debut, has previously worked as an assistant director on Karan Johar's projects.

The dialogues are crafted by Sehaj Kaur Maini, and the production is co-produced by Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani's Chalkboard Entertainment. Alia Bhatt, also starring in 'Alpha' and 'Love and War', teased the upcoming film's cast as being industry outsiders, with announcements forthcoming.
