The Curse of Oak Island Season 6 episode 13 titled ‘The Paper Chase’ was aired on February 12. In the overall thirteen episodes, we have seen plenty of developments in the way of discovering the real centuries-old treasures. Here we’ll have a glimpse of those new findings mainly for those who have missed some of the episodes.

The discovery of an iron cross in The Curse of Oak Island Season 6 is considered the possession of the storied Knights Templar. Lots of new things have been discovered like the centuries-old medieval cross, gemstone brooches, pottery, a piece of gold, bookbinding etc. that hinted that something was sure beneath the mysterious Oak Island. Among several discoveries, the finding of fragments of human bone is quite interesting, who carbon dating stretch back to the period of Knights Templar (14th century). It proves that Knights Templar visited Oak Island centuries ago.

The isotope of the cross was likely not to be linked between 15th and 17th century in Europe. The cause of choosing the expert from Bochum-based German Mining Museum as it is the largest mining museum in the world and a renowned research establishment for mining history.

On the other hand, the team first hinted over Twitter that they were getting closer to the French drain. The discovery of a wooden structure in Smith’s cove also created chaos over the social networking sites as it was believed to take the team to the Money Pit. The wooden structure was also claimed to have been used by the previous treasure hunters who tried to get the treasures. Even the revelations of Vikings were also discussed with a claim that they had been on the island in search of treasure although that’s not mentioned in the history.
