Gandhi raised issues concerning governance and questioned the government's stance on women's safety following a recent controversy involving a former chief secretary. He highlighted the necessity of enhancing local education and water availability while advocating for sustainable tourism that benefits the islanders.

Referring to his Bharat Jodo Yatra, Gandhi expressed regret for not starting from Indira Point, a symbolically important location. He assured continued advocacy for local concerns in Parliament and reiterated the ideological fight between Congress and BJP, citing electoral irregularities in several states.
