Pilgrimage of Faith: 1,000-Year Celebration of Somnath

The Delhi government has announced a special pilgrimage celebration for 1,300 devotees to travel to the Somnath shrine, marking 1,000 years since its notable historical significance.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta introduced the Somnath Swabhiman Parv-Somnath Yatra, highlighting its dedication to eternal faith and cultural heritage.
The devotees will embark from Safdarjung railway station on April 30, with arrangements for their accommodation and necessities made by the Gujarat government, emphasizing the initiative's cultural and spiritual importance.
