Official data has revealed a staggering 25,76,149 registrations for the 2026 Chardham Yatra and Hemkund Sahib Yatra. Kedarnath Dham leads the preferences with 9,09,432 registrations, closely followed by Badrinath with 7,63,564.
The pilgrimage, which started on April 19, will see 1.20 lakh pilgrims visiting the shrines over the next two days. Figures indicate 57,891 registrations for May 1 and 62,178 for May 2 across the four holy sites.
Uttarakhand's physical registration centres recorded significant foot traffic, with the Rishikesh Transit Camp and Haridwar centre leading the numbers. Pilgrims have been advised to use the helpline 1364 for any assistance during the yatra.
