Gulshan Grover: From 'Bad Man' to Brand Ambassador
Actor Gulshan Grover shares how director Subhash Ghai coined his infamous 'Bad Man' title at the doorstep during the making of the 1989 hit 'Ram Lakhan.' Known for his villainous roles, Grover has acted in over 500 films. He's now the brand ambassador for a local beverage company.
Veteran actor Gulshan Grover shared an intriguing story on Monday about his famed 'Bad Man' moniker, which originated from the 1989 film 'Ram Lakhan.' The term was coined by renowned director Subhash Ghai, who introduced the idea casually at his doorstep.
Grover recounted the moment Subhash Ghai invited him for breakfast during the film's production but withheld the details of his role. It wasn't until Ghai escorted him out that he mentioned the soon-to-be-iconic 'Bad Man' catchphrase, a detail Grover didn't grasp fully until audience reactions poured in after the movie's release.
Despite a versatile filmography, including roles in Hindi, English, French, and German productions, Grover is primarily associated with his villainous portrayals. Currently, he serves as the brand ambassador for a local packaged beverage company and recently visited Indore to promote it.
