Actor Nora Fatehi is scheduled to appear before the National Commission for Women (NCW) on Thursday, following a summons related to the controversial portrayal of women in the film song 'Sarke Chunar.'
Last month, actor Sanjay Dutt faced the Commission due to a similar issue with the song from the movie 'KD The Devil.' He submitted a written apology, expressing regret for any harm unintentionally caused.
Fatehi, set to appear at 11:30 a.m., has distanced herself from the Hindi version of the song, noting her involvement only in the Kannada version. Previously, she missed a Commission hearing, citing unavailability abroad. Her appearance comes amid concerns over vulgarity and representation in the song's content.
