Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has spotlighted the necessity of merging ancient Vedic wisdom with contemporary education. Speaking at the inauguration of Shri Narsingh Dev Sanskrit Gurukul in Samba district, he articulated the importance of cultural consciousness as the true strength of the nation.
In his address, Sinha emphasized Sanskrit's crucial role in providing ethical and balanced perspectives, aligning with India's rapid advancements in science and technology. The event also saw the dedication of a Nakshatra Park and a Yoga Dhyan Kendra to the public, and the laying of the foundation for a public library at the temple complex.
Sinha described the establishment of the Gurukul as a meaningful step toward reconnecting with India's civilizational roots. He emphasized the need for accessible and relevant dissemination of this knowledge in modern contexts, urging high academic standards from the Gurukul management to create ethical leaders for society.
