A prominent corporate executive, PMS Prasad, has made a significant donation of over Rs 1.5 crore to support TTD's Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust. The donation was formalized with a demand draft handed to the temple Peskar, Sri Ramakrishna, at Tirumala's Srivari temple.
The Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust, established in 2001, is dedicated to offering free medical treatment to economically disadvantaged individuals suffering from severe health conditions like heart disease, kidney ailments, brain disorders, and cancer.
This magnanimous gesture reaffirms the mission of TTD, which oversees the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, considered the wealthiest Hindu shrine globally, facilitating its role in community service.
