Priority Darshan: Easing Pilgrimage for the Elderly and Differently-Abled
The Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee announced a special arrangement for priority darshan to elderly and differently-abled pilgrims. Slots are scheduled at the temples to accommodate these groups, ensuring easier access and safety for vulnerable visitors, following a standard operating procedure.

The Shri Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee has made notable adjustments to ensure smooth pilgrimage for those over 70 and differently-abled visitors.
According to Chairman Hemant Dwivedi, this initiative will facilitate a more comfortable experience for these groups. The committee's CEO, Sohan Singh Rangad, confirmed the creation of four daily 15-minute slots dedicated to priority darshan.
Slots are operational from 8 am to 5.30 pm, accommodating 200 individuals daily by verifying identities and health statuses at temple counters.
