A significant fire incident erupted at a factory along Indore's Dhar Road on Saturday. Fortunately, there were no casualties, as laborers were not on-site during the outbreak, according to a police official.
The fire began at 7:30 am and was successfully extinguished by noon, thanks to the deployment of six fire engines. Thick black smoke was seen billowing from the site and was visible from several kilometers away.
Preliminary assessments suggest the blaze originated from a short circuit in the factory's distribution panel. This factory, Dew Drop Irrigation, is a plastic granule manufacturing unit, and the highly combustible materials stored inside contributed significantly to the rapid spread of the fire.
