In a recent controversy, CINTAA President Poonam Dhillon has questioned the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) for its unilateral decision to issue a non-cooperation directive against actor Ranveer Singh.

Dhillon criticized the lack of consultation with affiliated bodies like CINTAA and emphasized that such decisions carry significant implications for thousands of workers in the film industry.

FWICE has since withdrawn the directive following intervention by the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association, calling for a constructive resolution between Singh and Excel Entertainment over 'Don 3'.
