Youth icon and K-pop star Jung Joon has been arrested for allegedly sharing explicit videos of women filmed without their knowledge or consent. The arrest was made hours after he appeared in a court hearing and apologized to the victims.

In a press conference outside the court, Jung admitted responsibility for the charges. "I am truly sorry. I admit to all charges against me. I will not challenge the charges brought by the investigative agency and I will humbly accept the court's decision." Jung then bowed his head in apology. He is in custody at a Central Seoul police station.

The K-pop star is accused of being part of an online group that allegedly shared sexually explicit videos of women. K-Pop idol and Big Bang star Seungri and rock band FT Island member Choi Jong-hoon are alleged of the same. In light of the allegations, Jung was dropped by MakeUS Entertainment, his management company. And Seungri quit the entertainment industry.

If found guilty, they could be sentenced to five years in prison or face a fine of up to 30 million won under Korean law.
