Criminal Minds Season 15 is undeniably a highly anticipated show and fans are passionately waiting for its release. Mainly because this season is going to drop the series’ finale (almost) forever. In other words, the crime drama television series running since September 2005 is all set to bid adieu to its viewers.

Speculations about the cancellation of Criminal Minds after airing Season 15 swirled up buzzes mainly over the web world that the series’ rating dwindled significantly in Season 14. As far as the plot for upcoming season is concerned, it will not exactly pick up where Season 14 ended. According to the showrunner, Erica Messer, there will be a time jump and Season 15 will pick up six months after Season 14’s finale episode.

Criminal Minds Season 15 will show Dr. Spencer Reid (played by Matthew Gray Gubler) finding her new love interest in the final season. The series will portray Perception actress Rachael Leigh Cook in the character Max. According to the so-far released plot, Max is kind-hearted, quirky, candid women. She is so far known to be the love interest of Reid. It is also said that Cook will be only present in a minimum of two episodes and she is expected to be introduced as an unsub victim in one of the cases to be handled by BAU. Speculations reveal that she will initially develop the friendship with Reid in her first episode and then reappear as his very special friend.

Other characters like David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler), Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), Jennifer Jareau aka JJ (A. J. Cook) among others. On the other hand, CBS this time booked for only 10 episodes that is the lowest figure so far. The previous season had aired 15 episodes.

Criminal Minds Season 15 has no official release date. It is likely to premiere sometime in September or October this year. Stay tuned to DevDiscourse to get the latest updates on the television series.
