Avengers Infinity War: Objects that can defeat Thanos

A few months after its release, the fateful end of Avengers: Infinity War continues to give much to talk about.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is about to close a chapter and start a new one. The fourth phase of the films that we have enjoyed during the last decade is approaching. And while new faces will come as Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), we will also have to say goodbye to others like Captain America (Chris Evans).

A few months after its release, the fateful end of Avengers: Infinity War continues to give much to talk about. The same Kevin Feige, president of Marvel, recently has confirmed that it is not fortuitous that the survivors to Thanos' fatal snap are the original Avengers, among other characters such as Rocket Raccoon, War Machine, and Nebula.

Although the Gems and the Infinity Gauntlet grant great power to Thanos, there are other artefacts equally or even more powerful, at least in the comics, that can help defeat Thanos.

The Chest of the Ancient Winters

Coming from the kingdom of the Ice Giants, was taken by Odin after defeating them in a battle and sheltered in Asgard. However, Loki steals it and uses it to freeze Heimdall. It is capable of unleashing a winter in a few hours or freezing anyone in the Nine Realms. Another of its mystical properties is that it grants eternal youth to its bearer and can hide it from cosmic consciousness.

The Ruby of Cyttorak

Cyttorak, a member of the Octoesence, transferred a portion of his power to this ruby. Any human who touches it becomes a Juggernaut. The precious gem will increase its size, grant it enormous strength and invulnerability, as well as an almost impenetrable force field. It also functions as a portal to the Crimson Cosmos, where the demon Cyttorak lives.

The eye of evil

Created by the alchemists of Avalon, which is an interdimensional realm. This artefact has the power to molecularly alter matter, so it serves to disintegrate objects, neutralize offensive energy sources and force fields. However, it must be charged by large amounts of energy in order to be used. It can also manipulate some types of energy and, therefore, allows to travel through time.

The rings of the 'Mandarin'

The powers of these rings include the manipulation of any matter at the subatomic level, deceleration of time, manipulation of air, light, and darkness, as well as the ability to generate obsessions such as loyalty or other compulsions, among others. Their names, to give you an idea, are ice beam, mental intensifier, electric ray, fire ray, white light, dark light, a ray of disintegration, vortex ray, impact ray and control of matter.
