Shah Rukh and Letterman on Netflix: What's cooking and when is the release date?

Netlfix recently posted a teaser picture on Instagram from the purported interview of Shah Rukh Khan with David Letterman. The Instagram post became a rage among fans with hundreds of people commenting on the release date of the episode.

David Letterman has a series called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, the 2nd season of which is set to release on 31st May, but the episode with Shah Rukh Khan is unlikely to be a part of season 2 and will be present as a "stand-alone special".

Even Shah Rukh Khan seems hyped about the interview. "I've watched David Letterman's late-night talk show for years and I'm a huge fan of his style of interviewing," Shah Rukh Khan said in a prepared statement, prior to the taping. "I'm thrilled and honoured to share my story with him. That this is on Netflix is even more special — I'm working with the team on various projects and it's always been exciting partnering with them."

Shah Rukh Khan had also taken to Twitter to thank Letterman for the interview.
