13 Reasons Why to be renewed for Season 4 but that will be the end - report
13 Reasons Why fans would be delighted to know that the show is most likely to be renewed for Season 4 now that the release date of Season 3 is closing in. But the bad news is that it will be the end of the show, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter. The 3rd edition of the show will be released on August 23, Netflix has confirmed.
The series, produced by actor-singer Selena Gomez, centers on a 17-year-old high school student who commits suicide and leaves behind 13 cassette tapes for 13 different people she felt were instrumental in her decision to take her own life.

13 Reasons Why has also had its fair share of controversies. Mental health advocacy groups from around the world had slammed "13 Reasons Why", claiming it bore "risks associated for children and young people who have been exposed" to the show.
Last year, a US study found that a significant proportion of suicidal teens treated in a psychiatric emergency department said that watching "13 Reasons Why" had increased their suicide risk.
