Grammy winner Chance the Rapper has been announced as the host for Quibi's revival of MTV show "Punk’d". The 26-year-old hip-hop artiste will take over the director's chair for the updated version of the hidden-camera show where pranks are pulled on celebrities.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will be reimagined for a new generation of viewers and available in episodes of 10 minutes or less on the streaming platforms, which will be launched in April. "Punk’d", which started on MTV in 2003, was created by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg. Kutcher also hosted the show.

During its seven-season run, the actor famously pranked celebs like Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, and Frankie Muniz.
