Montgomery, 25, had Tommy John surgery in June and will not return until at least midway through 2019. He went 2-0 with a 3.62 ERA in six starts this season.

Torreyes, who turns 26 next month, has hit .323 with six RBIs in 65 at-bats for the Yankees this season, appearing in 24 games.

Voit, 27, was acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals before the non-waiver trade deadline. He has gone 3-for-16 with two RBIs and five strikeouts in five games with the Yankees, bringing his average for the year to .185.
