It was a humid day in Delhi on Sunday with the maximum temperature settling at 32.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

According to the MeT department, the humidity level oscillated between 97 percent and 65 percent.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, which was also a notch below the season's average.

The Safdarjung observatory -- the recording of which is considered official for the city -- registered 5.8 mm of rainfall during the past 24 hours ending at 8.30 am.

The weatherman has predicted generally cloudy sky with light rain and thundershowers for Monday, and the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to settle around 26 degrees and 33 degrees Celsius respectively.

The minimum temperature Saturday was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 34 degrees Celsius.
