IMF 9th Jacques Polak Annual Research Conference 'International Spillovers and Cooperation'

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will hold its 19th Jacques Polak Annual Research Conference, "International Spillovers and Cooperation" on November 1–2, 2018, at IMF Headquarters in Washington, DC.

IMF First Deputy Managing Director David Lipton will open the conference at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 1.

The theme of this year's conference is "International Spillovers and Cooperation." Raghuram Rajan (Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance, University of Chicago Booth School of Business) will deliver the Mundell-Fleming Lecture. The conference is intended to provide a forum for discussing innovative research from both within and outside the IMF, and to facilitate the exchange of views among researchers and policymakers.

The conference is open to the public and registration is required (registration will include all conference sessions, the Mundell-Fleming Lecture, and the Economic Forum). Online registration is now open. Registered attendees will be required to present photo identification on entering the IMF at 1900 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington D.C.
