Crude oil futures slip on low demand

Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.33 per cent to Rs 6,284 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for March delivery fell by Rs 21 or 0.33 per cent to Rs 6,284 per barrel in a business volume of 10,399 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil remained flat at USD 76.66 per barrel, while Brent crude was marginally down by 0.01 per cent to USD 82.65 per barrel in New York.
