Power transmission cable catches fire in Thane

A power transmission cable of the state power discom Mahavitaran caught fire in Majiwada locality of Thane city on Wednesday but nobody was injured in the incident, a civic official said.

The fire spread to a garbage dump and internet cables, and was put out after more than three and a half hours, he said.
