Speaking to the media persons, CM Mohan Yadav remarked, "Around 2,500 years ago, Lord Buddha attained enlightenment on this land. Today, I came here with my family, and I am so grateful to worship at the Mahabodhi Temple. His teachings on maintaining peace and spreading happiness are invaluable."

He added, "I was heading to Azamgarh for a rally but managed to find some time in my schedule to visit the Mahabodhi Temple and Gaya." CM Yadav also expressed his gratitude to the residents and party workers of the state who welcomed and supported him during his visit.
