Tragic Drowning Incident at Hebbe Waterfalls in Karnataka

A 25-year-old man, Shravan from Hyderabad, tragically drowned at Hebbe Waterfalls in Chikkamagaluru while on a trip with a friend. Despite attempts to rescue and revive him, he was declared dead at a local hospital. Shravan worked as a system analyst at an e-commerce firm.

A 25-year-old man lost his life at Hebbe Waterfalls in Chikkamagaluru, police confirmed on Tuesday.

Shravan, a resident of Hyderabad, visited the area with a friend. They rented a bike to explore, eventually reaching the waterfall on Monday.

According to a police officer, the waterfall was in full force due to the monsoon. Despite the slippery rocks and their inability to swim, they entered the water. Shravan slipped and began to drown, while his friend managed to escape. Onlookers rescued Shravan, who was alive but later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital despite a doctor's efforts to save him.
