Prem Prabhakar Appointed as Managing Director and CEO of SBICAP Ventures Limited

SBICAP Ventures Limited (SVL) has officially named Prem Prabhakar as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 4, 2024. Mr. Prabhakar will take charge of steering the company’s strategic direction and operational efficiency while fostering overall growth.

Mr. Prabhakar's extensive experience in the banking sector spans over 24 years. He has previously served as General Manager at the State Bank of India (SBI) and held various significant roles such as Deputy General Manager, Chief Dealer, and Director on the board of the Regional Rural Bank, Jharkhand Rajya Gramin Bank. His expertise in treasury operations, including forex, money markets, and risk management, positions him as a strategic leader for SVL.
