Pfc. Katia Duen~as Aguilar, a soldier stationed at Fort Campbell, was discovered dead in her Tennessee home earlier this year with 68 stab wounds, according to an autopsy report from the Montgomery County Medical Examiner's Office. Clarksville Police confirmed no arrests have been made in the case.
Duen~as Aguilar, who enlisted in the Army in 2018, was a member of the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division. Both Clarksville Police and Army criminal investigators are jointly investigating the homicide. The cause of death was officially ruled a homicide due to sharp force injuries to the neck. During a May news conference in Texas, her family publicly pleaded for justice for Duen~as Aguilar.
